This Disney Deluxe Resort and Disney Deluxe Villa Resort celebrates the grandeur of the glorious national parks of America’s Great Northwest. Guests will bask in the harmony of natural elements while they sample the beauty and majesty of the great outdoors at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is a AAA Four-Diamond Award–winning resort hotel located at the Walt Disney World Resort. Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is located in the Magic Kingdom Resort Area on Bay Lake. The resort is also located near Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.
The main building was modeled after the Old Faithful Inn in Yellowstone National Park. An artificial geyser and hot springs are located on the resort grounds. The Resort has eight floors of Lodgepole pine imported from Oregon, as well as 55 foot, authentic totem poles, and an 82 ft fireplace representing the colorful rocks of the Grand Canyon. This display represents Northwestern Native American artifacts, myths, legends, and stories. The Lodge is a 4-star deluxe Walt Disney World resort. Lodge guests have access to restaurants, a spa and fitness center, theme pools, jacuzzi hot tubs, a kids’ zone and babysitting center, and fun and educational activities for adults and children
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge offers bus service to all 4 Disney theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom), both water parks (Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach water park), and Disney Springs.
In addition to bus transportation, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge also offers a water launch service to Magic Kingdom® Park and select Disney Resort hotels.

Typical Standard rooms with Nature & Courtyard Views includes 2 queen beds and 340 sq. ft. of total area. Standard rooms accommodate up to four Guests plus one child under age 3 in a crib. Some rooms also include a bunk bed, in addition to one queen bed. Additional views include a standard view, pool view, and Magic Kingdom fireworks views.
Wilderness Lodge contains 300+ Guest rooms, 350+ Villas, 10 Deluxe rooms, and 1 Suite. Guests choosing Club Level accommodations at the Old Faithful Club receive personalized concierge service and lounge with continental breakfast, midday snacks and evening wine, hors d’oeuvres, cordials and desserts.

Kid’s Nite Out Babysitting
Kid’s Nite Out caregivers can provide one-on-one in-room childcare in the comfort of a Walt Disney World® Resort room. The professional staff of Kid’s Nite Out gives the child individual attention by playing a variety of fun-filled activities with him/her including reading books, coloring, or playing “I Spy” games. They can also provide a fun, well-trained sitter to just hang out with the family if they need a father’s/mother’s helper. Kid’s Nite Out also plans and works children’s parties, camps, and children’s theme conventions.

Can you ride the monorail from Disney’s Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom?
Unfortunately, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is not on the monorail loop. Wilderness Lodge does offer a quick, relaxing boat ride to the Magic Kingdom.
Can you walk from Disney’s Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom?
While it seems as though you should be able to walk to the other Magic Kingdom resort hotels and perhaps even the Magic Kingdom itself, you cannot. Transportation from the Wilderness Lodge is available through either the Boat Dock or the Bus Depot.
Is there a health club or fitness center at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge?
Yes. Stay in shape at the Sturdy Branches Health Club located in the Boulder Ridge Villas area of the resort.
Are the Wilderness Lodge pools heated?
Yes. Pools are heated to 82°F/28°C year round.
How many pools are at Wilderness Lodge?
Two. Disney’s Wilderness Lodge features the Copper Creek Springs pool and the Boulder Ridge Cove pool.
