Tour Newly Enhanced Freedom of the Seas Cruise Ship
The newly enhanced Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas is a marvel of maritime engineering, and packed with awesome innovations to stir your imagination. You can infuse color into your cruise with the artworks from the Art Gallery or with the frosted confections of the Cupcake Cupboard. Finish you evening with a selection of reds or whites at the renovated, now-more-intimate Vintages wine bar.
Plus, enjoy all the revolutionary features Freedom of the Seas has always been known for including FlowRider surf simulator, rock-climbing wall, ice-skating rink, Royal Promenade, cantilevered whirlpools, mini golf course, H2O Zone water park, and much more.
Freedom of the Seas originally launched in May 2006 as the world’s biggest cruise ship, measuring 155,000 tons, carrying 4,500 passengers. The huge ship was recently refurbished and we had the pleasure of taking a tour to see it’s new features and enhancements. Come along for the tour here:
If you were familiar with Freedom of the Seas before it’s refurb in January 2015, you may notice some of the changes. During the enhancements, new cabins were added both inside the ship, in the former location of the “The Crypt” nightclub, and in a new structure atop the front of the ship. Other changes included the addition of the Mexican restaurant “Sabor” and replacement of the “Portofino” Italian restaurant with “Giovanni’s Table.”
