Jennifer Meyer

Jennifer’s family camped and traveled the US extensively in her youth and eventually the globe when her father was a pilot. Jennifer remembers her first visit to Walt Disney World the summer after Big Thunder Mountain Railroad opened and that ride remains her favorite to this day. In fact, her friends fight over who gets to sit next to her as she giggles through the whole ride with exuberance.
In high school she became a youth exchange student and spent a year in Australia. Through this program she met friends from around the globe – even running into one of them by accident on a train platform in Germany many years later, proving that it is a small world after all. Her sisters were also exchange students and she traveled to South Africa and a few times back to Australia over the years. In college she spent a semester in the Netherlands and much of the following summer exploring the European continent and the United Kingdom and looking up relatives in her ancestor’s homeland of Ireland. Backpacking, sleeping on overnight trains and making friends at youth hostels, as well as studying photography, cemented her love for travel and adventure.
Since marrying and having children she has continued to explore the world with cruises to Alaska, the Caribbean and the Panama Canal. She ended up at Disney World by accident when her kindergarten daughter wrote a note saying she would be sixteen by the time the family would finally go there. Jennifer quickly researched a trip and the family was there less than two weeks later. Since then she has returned many times with extended family, girlfriends’ runDisney trips and more family adventures including Sea World, Miami, Tampa and more.
