Start Your Day with Character at Crystal Palace

Not far from Main Street in the Magic Kingdom you’ll find all your friends from the 100 acre woods, Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger!  The Building features a crystal atrium that stands out as a beautiful landmark.  It was designed after England’s Crystal Palace, built in Hyde Park to house the Great Exhibition of 1851.  Crystal Palace is a buffet restaurant serving breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Today we will talk about breakfast.  If you want to have a great start to your Disney day at Magic Kingdom, I’d suggest an early morning dining reservation at the Crystal Palace.  Did you know you can actually make a reservation before the park opens?  Yep!  Imaging walking down a nearly empty Main Street with an unobstructed castle view…perfect for picture taking!  There is a specially market gate for early park arrivals.  Bring your confirmation number.  Disney Transportation runs early enough for all reservations.

Once you’re seated, you can help yourself to the buffet.  There are two sides but they both have the same offerings.  An omelet station is also featured. Menu items change frequently but usually include breakfast pizzas, breakfast lasagna, meats, baked goods, Mickey waffles, puffed french toast and hash browns.

After you get your food, the fun begins!  The characters will visit your table for autographs and pictures.  They interact in a charming manner that engages guests of all ages.  Every hour or so, there’s a Character parade for the children with singing, napkin waving and a willy, nilly, silly, good time!
