Disney Cruise Line offers huge discounts in honor of the brave men and women who serve this country. For example, Disney is offering a rate of $175 per person per night for a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah on the 3 Night Bahamian Cruise on the Disney Dream on April 10, 2014. For two people that would be a cost of $1050. The standard rate for two people is $1722. Military discounts are usually announced 30-60 days before the sailing. You will need to pay for the entire fare on your credit card at the time of booking. Your travel agent can let you know as soon as rates are available for your travel dates so you can take advantage of these fantastic discounts. There is a maximum of 50 rooms at this discounted rate per cruise so booking early is a must. Military discounts are available to all active duty and retired U.S. military personnel (or their spouse) in the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Marines, U.S Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. National Guard, U.S. Army Reserve and U.S. Department of Defense personnel. 100% permanently disabled veterans are also eligible for the discounts. Active and retired members (or spouse) of the U.S. military must provide valid identification at time of check-in. The active duty or retired personnel and veterans do not have to travel as long as their spouse has a valid military ID. This offer is limited to a maximum of 1 stateroom per military member (or spouse), per sailing. You can book two rooms only if needed for immediate family. Activated members (or spouse) of the U.S. National Guard or the U.S. Army Reserve must also show active duty orders (active duty papers must be dated as of January 1st of the previous year to qualify).
